I travelled to Sweden in June and honestly fell in love with the country. It’s such a beautiful place, and having the right people to guide you really can make a trip feel that much more special. What I loved about Calenvoy is that they really know Sweden. They’re locals, so they know the places, the little hidden gems and the experiences that you might not find just by searching online. They both are genuinely lovely, warm, and clearly very passionate about what they do. If you’re planning a trip to Sweden and want to see a more personal side of the country, I’d definitely recommend Calenvoy.

Chanterelles, before the first frost.

October is the month I’d send anyone into the beech woods of Skåne. The chanterelles are out, the light is low and gold, and a morning with a local forager ends with a pan, butter and bread over the fire.

It’s one of the best things Sweden does, and one of the simplest.
